ITINERARY

• Day1
  Overnight flight to Shannon. Dinner will be served followed by an in-flight movie.
  Day 2
   

  Arrive Shannon where your Irish driver guide will escort you to the waiting motor coach. A short drive will take us to the grand estate of Dromoland Castle where you can enjoy complimentary tea and scones in their regal surroundings. Then head south toward Killarney where you will check into the 4-Star Killarney Avenue Hotel. This afternoon is free for you to explore this friendly town. Maybe you would like to take a jaunting car ride to see Muckross House. This evening meet your fellow travelers for dinner in the hotel dining room. Overnight Killarney Avenue Hotel, Killarney.

• Day 3

  Following breakfast embark on one the most scenic drives in Ireland, the Ring of Kerry. Here you will experience the Magic of Ireland as you view it's spectacular beauty. Mountains and streams roll into lush valleys dotted with villages, colorful flora & remnants of Iron Age forts and Ogham stones. There will be plenty of time to stop for photos and lunch on the way. You will also experience the thrill of watching a sheep dog demonstration on the Ring of Kerry. Return to Killarney late afternoon. Dinner tonight in the hotel dining room. Overnight Killarney Avenue Hotel, Killarney.

• Day 4
  Leaving Killarney we will travel to the picturesque harbor town of Cobh. We will visit the Cobh Heritage Center, which depicts the varied history of emigration from Ireland and many European countries to the United States over the past 150 years. Following the tour a complimentary light lunch will be served at the Watersedge Hotel where you can relax and enjoy the harbor view. Afterwards continue over to the coastal village of Shanagarry to visit the Stephen Pearce pottery Gallery where you can shop for unique gifts. A 10-minute drive will take us to the Garryvoe Hotel that overlooks Ballycotton Bay. Dinner tonight in the hotel dining room. Overnight Garryvoe Hotel.

• Day 5
  Following breakfast travel along the southern coastline to the city of Waterford and the famous Waterford Crystal Factory. A guided tour of the factory will demonstrate how this world-renowned crystal is blown, cut and polished. There will be time after the tour to visit the exquisite showrooms and do some shopping if you wish. Afterwards some free time to explore this city which was once ruled by the Vikings and have lunch in a local cafe or Pub. Return to the Garryvoe Hotel. Dinner tonight in your hotel.

• Day 6
  Leave Cork and travel into County Tipperary to the town of Cashel for a visit and guided tour of the Rock of Cashel. We will then travel westward to one of the prettiest villages in Ireland, Adare. Here we will check into the elegant Adare Manor Hotel and Resort where your deluxe room accommodations will allow you to relax and experience one of Ireland's most luxurious properties. The remainder of the day and evening are free to take advantage of the many facilities this 5 star property has to offer. You may choose to dine at the manor or sample some of the local fare in the village. Overnight Adare Manor.

• Day 7

  After breakfast we will travel northwards and stop at the Craggaunowen project. Here you can take yourself back to the bronze age and see a Crannog (lake dwelling) a ring fort and an iron age roadway. Continue on to the coast and stop at the famous Cliffs of Moher that stand 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. After a refreshing walk we will travel on to Galway City. A brief driving tour will orientate you with the many attractions that this city has to offer. Check into the 5 star deluxe Glenlo Abbey Hotel, an 18th Century country residence located on a 138-acre lakeside golf estate. This evening is free for you to explore Galway and sample one of it's many restaurants. Overnight Glenlo Abbey Hotel.

• Day 8
  Following breakfast we will take a scenic drive out into the wild and wonderful Connemara region where colorful wildflowers will be in bloom. We will tour one of the most photographed locations in Ireland, Kylemore Abbey, home to the Benedictine nuns. Afterwards travel to Recess where you will enjoy afternoon tea at the Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel. We will return to Galway in the late afternoon, some free time before a drink reception and dinner tonight at your hotel. Overnight Glenlo Abbey Hotel.

• Day 9

  After breakfast we will travel south to Shannon Airport for your return flight to the USA.
