ITINERARY

• Day 1
  Overnight flight to Shannon, Ireland. Dinner to be followed by an in-flight movie.
  Day 2
  Arrive Shannon early morning. After collecting your luggage and passing through Irish customs you will be greeted by your Irish driver/guide who will escort you to your waiting motorcoach. We will stop at Bunratty Village for a full Irish breakfast. You will have some time for shopping or to explore the little village on your own. We will then continue our journey south to the harbor town of Kinsale in Co. Cork. The remainder of the afternoon will be free. You may choose to explore this fascinating town on foot or relax in your hotel. You will enjoy a welcome Irish coffee before dinner. Dinner and overnight the Trident Hotel, Kinsale.

• Day 3

  After breakfast we will drive to coastal town of Cobh for a visit to the Cobh Heritage Center, which depicts the varied history of emigration from Ireland and many European countries to the United States over the past 150 years. Then it is onto the Jameson Distillery for a tour and tasting of Ireland's most famous export. Tonight you will be free to try one of Kinsale's many fine restaurants on your own. Overnight at the Trident Hotel, Kinsale.

• Day 4
  Following breakfast we will drive to the town of Blarney. Here you will have an opportunity to shop at the world famous Blarney Woolen Mills and for those energetic enough to climb the 104 steps to kiss the Blarney Stone and receive the gift of the eloquence. You will arrive in Dingle in the afternoon with some time to relax before dinner. Dinner and overnight at Benners Hotel, Dingle.

• Day 5
  On the journey today you will experience unforgettable scenery of towering cliffs on one side and dramatic drops to the sea on the other as we drive around the magnificent Slea Head. We will stop at the Gallarus Oratory, a historic Christian Church, which dates back to the 8th century. It is a perfect example of the dry stone building style of the time. The oratory is in the shape of an inverted boat and is still waterproof to this day. We will then drive back to the town of Dingle where you will have an opportunity to see the charming town on foot or relax in your hotel or local pub. Dinner and overnight at Benners Hotel, Dingle.

• Day 6
  This morning we will leave Dingle and drive to the town of Tarbert and take the ferry across the River Shannon arriving in Killimer. Our journey will take us up the west coast to see the magnificent Cliffs of Moher, a rocky wall that rises nearly 700 feet above the foaming Atlantic Ocean. You will have some time to walk out to the cliff edge if you wish. From here you will drive through the scenic moonscape of the Burren region and arrive in the town of Ennis where you will spend your last night in Ireland. Dinner and overnight at the Temple Gate Hotel, Ennis.

• Day 7

  Following a leisurely breakfast you will make the short journey to Shannon Airport. There will be time for last minute shopping at the famous Shannon Duty Free Shops.
